This is a great little Japanese friction powered car. Mid 1960s Bandai VW beetle. This were made in battery operated and friction versions. This is a Bandai friction car.
The sound of these Bandai friction cars brings back memories to anyone who grew up in the 1950s or 1960s.
Bandai made Volkswagen beetles in four sizes. The car shown is about eight inches long. The bigger King Size Volkswagens have battery boxes and clear engine compartment lids. This allows you to see the moving fan.
