Ohio Art Tin Toy Pump
This is a beach or sandbox toy made by Ohio Art. The pails and shovels are highly collectible, but these pumps are usually ignored.
This toy pump works. You put water in the base, and pumping the handle causes water to come out of the spot.
This dates from the late 1950s.
The image above shows a close up of a little girl with a pail on a beach. You can also see the elephant on the pump pole. Collectors buy these based on the graphics printed on them and the condition.
A really rare and desirable beach toy in poor condition is worth almost nothing. Condition is that important.
